A simple story in which Kevin Plank's life gets interrupted by Brad, an old lost and searching friend, who crashes at his apartment for a few days.
This film by writer/director David Safin has its funny moments that are akin to NBC's The Office in its humor and style. Though the plot is a bit ambiguous and underdeveloped it does feature good performances by David Safin as Kevin Plank and Fred Findley as Kevin's friend, Brad. Safin was proud of the performances he received from his cast. "Everyone delivered great performances from top to bottom especially Tim Koenig as Foley and George M. Safin as Artemus Plank." This film would have been much better served as a short. The pacing is slow and it takes too long to progress the narrative. Most times each concept takes too long to get to the point. The lighting and sound is also problematic. When asked what he thought the weaknesses of the film were, Safin replied, "It is weak technically. It was shot with a consumer mini-DV camcorder, so there were many light and sound problems. To me, the sound is the absolute worst part of the movie. It is a problem that will be fixed in upcoming productions." Safin admits that another big challenge "was a personal challenge to serve as the director, co-writer, co-producer, editor, co-director of photography and lead actor of a production. It was quite a strain. I owe a lot to Fred Findley and Tim Koenig who were there throughout the entire production lending support." Overall, not a bad effort but there is room for potential. The film received Honorable Mention in the category of Humor from the Accolade Competition. "Hey, I wanted to tell you about this dream I was just having. I was an accountant... cooking the books or whatever they do..." -Kevin and Brad talking about last night's dreams.
